Fishing

Located in the heart of the Arctic/Pacific divide, this remote area of BC boasts the largest diversity of fish species from both the Arctic and Pacific watersheds. Our Motto is "A different species of fish for each day of your stay!" We enjoy guiding tenures on about 30 local lakes!

Our guided fishing trips are normally based on 3 to 8 days, and can be combined with hunting or wilderness tours. Some of the lakes available are fly-in only, and require a short float plane or helicopter ride to access these secret fishing holes. We also have a lot of great fishing sites that are accessible via Horseback, ATV, Riverboat, and 4x4 for those on a tighter budget.

Different species of fish require different techniques, and we offer fly fishing, spin casting, and lake trolling, from a boat, float-tubes, or just from shore. Upon request, the appropriate gear can be supplied, although we will assume that you already have your favorite rod and tackle that you would like to catch the "big one" on!

The various types of fish available are Rainbow Trout, Eastern Brook Trout, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Dolly Varden, Burbot (Ling Cod), Arctic Grayling, and several species of Whitefish.

Steelhead and Pacific Salmon fishing can be arranged, but have a very limited window to when they are available in the local rivers, and depend greatly on when the rivers are clear enough to fish, which varies from year to year. It also requires additional licenses and tags. For rates, bookings, or further info, don't hesitate to contact us and we can start planning your trip today!
